Now you've got your pics on a website, display any one of your pics there. Copy it's address and paste that in your post. Add ".jpg" (without the quotes) and you should be there! You seem to have merely attached .jpg to the home page!......

For this, I had to find "http: //http://www. flickr. com/ photos/ garpoonga/ 2294400056/ in/ photostream/" (The spaces are put there by me to prevent an additional display)) and then add .jpg And it only seems to open in a "new window"!!.

With Flickr no need to guess..

Go to your image page.http://www.flickr.com/photos/garpoonga/2294401934.

That's an HTML document. Go to 'All Sizes'.

Which gets you to.

Then click 'small' if that's the size you want which gets you to.

Which again is an address of an HTML document containing an image..

At least for my images, below the image it gives the HTML code for hotlinking an image in an HTML document. For dpreview, all you need is the URL of the image itself, so you pull out what's specified in the IMG SRC tag (URL attribute of that tag). Alternately, your browser may let you right-click on the image to see the image's URL..

To stay within Flickr's TOS, you should then provide a link back to the image page...

You should not need to add ".jpg"..

I know that Flickr has it's own way of doing things. But the general principle is to view the image you are interested in and right-click and get the image URL.The image URL already includes the .jpg extension.Using Firefox, just right-click and "copy image location".With Internet explorer, right-click, select "properties" and copy the URL.Then paste it into your message. It should look a bit like this:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3114/2294401934_829b393a6a_m.jpg.

You are absolutely right. Flickr provides the information below the image."2. Grab the photo's URL:"..

Alternately, yourbrowser may let you right-click on the image to see the image's URL..

True..

To stay within Flickr's TOS, you should then provide a link back tothe image page..
