Vitamins make me sick so I chew 2 flintstones vitamins, My vitaming D is low so I take 2k of that daily also..
Don't take the multi. Medifast gives you 100% of the RDA of a lot of vitamins. If you take a multi on top of it you can damage your liver and kidneys with overdoses of the fat-soluble vitamins (the water-soluble ones you just pee out the extra of)..
The omega-3s and biotin are great. I don't know about the Alpha Lipoic..
I take fish oil, vit D, biotin, probiotics, and psyllium...
The Alpha Lipoic helps with inflamation in your body as well as rebuilding some nerves.... it is a super anti oxidant... my dr recommended it for me.... and it is helping ... =)..

5000 mcg was what was recommended to me. That's how much I take - 2 capsules...

On doctors orders, I also take iron, and D, because both were so low..
I also take biotin and octovite, (it's an eye vitamin, macular degeneration runs in my family)..
