Best way to buy Medifast

Want the Latest Medifast Coupons Every Month?

Enter your email address below and we'll send you the latest coupon codes to save on Medifast every month. We'll even give a lucky person a month supply of free food.

This is for anyone who can help. I started out doing the VIP thing where you get a week of free meals. Well I do not like any of the free meals that are sent. I have gotten the second month and they sent the exact same thing as the first month's free meal. ACK. Now I have two weeks of stuff I don't like.

Thank you for all your help and info..

Personally, I think thats the best way to buy it, through TSFL/VIP. You get progressive discounts AND a free coach/mentor.

Your tastes will change, TRUST ME. THere were things I couldnt stand, that now I love! So, give it a couple of weeks then try it again. There are also some "tricks" to making MF..

For example, shakes? BLEND!!! Add ice. You get about double the volume and it tastes SO MUCH BETTER! I about gagged on my first shake when I used the shaker...

Soups? Soak them for an hour or so. Add a smidge of bouillon (low salt preferbly) add a bit more water and nuke for 2 min then let sit for 10 min and nuke again for 30 seconds..

What foods SPECIFICALLY dont you like???.

Amen to Adele - I hated the cocoa and cappuccino hot; love 'em cold....soups have become tolerable...and the only thing I really don't eat (but could if I had to or if hubby won't) is the oatmeal..

You can go to retailmenot.com or google medifast coupons and you'll get codes to save money. Also I've heard you can buy off of ebay cheap from people who didn't like the plan. I use the coupon codes and just joined a center and they'll honor the codes..

I only order the foods that I like, haven't done VIP since about the 1st month after I started...the first go around. I'm a creature of habit, I eat the same things, day in, day out! I only order shakes, chicken noodle soup, tomato soup, honey mustard pretzels, some bars, plain pancakes and the new soft serve coffee flavor. I just google for a medifast coupon to use monthly and pay for shipping..

And ADELE..WOOOO HOOOO! Your new photo is fab!.

If you do not like the foods that you get for your free weeks, then you should ask your Health Coach if he/she is willling to swap foods with you. Each Health Coach is different, but they are there to make your journey easier - it's worth a shot! The TSFL Be Slim Club can save you money, and you earn points toward purchases with each order..

Adeleintexas, The foods I don't like are mainly the oatmeal. I don't like oatmeal when I wasn't MFing. I have tried the cowgirl muffins, reg oatmeal muffins, Yuck. But before I give up on oatmeal I am going to put it in the blender and make a powder out of it and try that to see if it will be less gummy. The chilli looks and smells like dog food to me. Sorry.

It needs something. I LOVE the pancakes!! Both kinds. I make waffles out of them just as they are and I am in heaven..

I didnt like the oatmeal at first either. I do/did like Oatmeal pre-MF. I just make it watery, more soupy and I can eat it now. I actually really like the peach and blueberry. But it took a few weeks to "get there"!.

THe chili is really good to me. Same thing, add some boillion and make it more "soupy" less thick. When it's thick, to me, it's not enough volume..

What about trying to make pancakes out of the oatmeal???? I have never tried, but I think you could. Add some baking powder and give it a whirl! .

Worst case? Eat only the foods you like. Totally doable!.

Fansiera..........I like to mix one pancake packet with an oatmeal packet (my favorite is the blueberry) to make pancakes. I don't add anything else but 1/2 of water. It makes two meals which I eat the same day..

You can always exchange your meals via Medifast - the instructions are on the back of your packing slip. Or you can ebay what you don't like and at least get some money for them..

My hubby is on the VIP plan and he was able to return what he didn't want and now only orders what we like..

I've bought a lot on Ebay. DO THE MATH: I stop bidding when the combined price goes over $1.90/meal with shipping... Bars are $16.25 including shipping from a re-seller in Philly, PLUS they arrive by FedEx in 1-2 days: http://cgi.ebay.com/MEDIFAST-CRUNCH-BARS-4-BOXES-YOU-PICK-FLAVORS-FS_W0QQitemZ180541623380QQcategoryZ0QQcmdZViewItem QQ_trksidZp4340.m506QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DNGRI%26its% 3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D20%26pmod%3D130413287 337%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D6381824349760450849.

I have never ordered the variety pack and have always since day 1 customzied my order. That way I order waht I enjoy and like and when I purchase something new and perhaps dont care for it as much I find a receipe to help me use the item..

Check craigslist for your area. I've done it twice with awesome results. Both times it was someone who started and then quit the program. Both times they had some items I knew I would not want, so we altered the price for those items that I did want. Again, check on expiration dates, and if it a concern for you, is it a non-smoking home, how and where they stored the food. And since it was local, no shipping costs involved! I got about 50 items from one lady for $35 and a just recently about 45 items for $60 - not as good of a deal but still better than normal price..

I saw that someone suggested the coupons ($25 or $50 off) BUT in ADDITION I buy through Big Crumbs .com ..it pays you back a percentage and every other month they deposit it into your paypal...which means an even cheaper order that month!!.
