Hey all, I know we are all different and weight loss may vary, but I'm curious how much other people lost the first week and first month. I'm on my 4th day of MF, 100% OP and feel pretty good (day 3 was rough, though!), just looking for a little insight from those who've been down this road. Thanks!..

My day 2,3 and 4 were rough but it got better and now I feel super. If a person stays on plan, they will lose the way their body is designed to lose..

I second Cellis' comments as my days 2 - 5 were pretty rough as well. But is did get much easier and now feels routine. My first week was a 16 Lb. loss and the first month totaled 32 Lbs. Best of luck on your new journey...

First 2 weeks are usually pretty good. If you look at my stats you'll see I'm a slow "loser". Could also be because I use condiments on most days. Everyone is built differently, some lose faster than others but one thing is for sure, if you stay OP you will lose...

First week was really rough. Second week was easier. I was sooo hungry. The eggbeaters saved me. By the end of week two I had to split my L&G when I used egg beaters.

21 lbs. the first month! That'll keep you going!..

It depends on how much you have to lose. If you have 100+ to lose, you may see double digit weekly losses for a while. If you have less than 30 to lose, you may see 1-2 pound weekly losses. Your body will only release a certain percentage of body weight and not go into "starvation" mode and plateau. For example 5 pounds is about 2% of your body weight if you weigh 250, but it is nearly 4% of your body weight if you weigh 130..

I lose 2-3 pounds per week on average. If you look at my signature, you'll see some weeks I had a 4 pound loss and other weeks I lost less than a pound. It all averages out to 2-3 pounds per week for me.

The bottom line is that it took time to gain the weight, It will take time to take it back off, but if you stick with it, you will succeed and get the results you want at some point in time. The time it takes will give you the opportunity to reflect and reprogram your thoughts and body to live a healthier nutritional life in the future... and that reprogramming is ultimately what will determine your long term success..

My first week was 5.2 lbs and my first month was 14. Today I hit 8 weeks and I've lost 22.6 lbs. I'm 5'4" and 37 years old..

My first few weeks I seemed to lose between 3-4 lbs per week. I am currently on my first short plateau but I'm not worried because Medifast WORKS :-) If you stick to the plan, the weight will come off. Some people are quick losers and some people are slow losers, but we are all losers. As long as the scale is inching it's way down, you're doing well.

I have a friend who is starting Medifast this week and worried about success. I told her that this time of year, even staying at the same weight is a success! Most people get on the holiday food train around Halloween and don't get off until Jan 1. If you're on Medifast during this time, you're way ahead of the rest!.

I guess I was a slow loser. I had over 100 lbs, but I have been pretty consistant at losing 1 to 2 lbs per week. Sometimes I lose 3. That's been my pattern since the very beginning. At first, I was a bit disappointed when I compared my weekly losses to other people's stats...but...I was losing consistently! And that is what's kept me going. Now, 7 months into the plan...I feel like I'm on the home stretch!.

My consistent weight loss keeps me focused, but since my scale doesn't move as fast as other folks, my NSVs (non-scale victories) are what truly MOTIVATES me..

When I did Medifast earlier this year , I lost 6 pounds the first week. This time around ..I am on day four and am down 3 pounds (I weigh every day). I know Im not supposed to but I cant help myself.. :-)..

I lost 6 lbs in Week 1 and I totalled 12 lbs for the first month...best of luck!..

I lost 15.2 the first week and 29.4 the first four weeks for a 7.35 a week average. I now refer to that as The Good Old Days as I plug along...

I started at 175.5 with a 50 pound goal. I lost 4.5 pounds in the first week and 11.9 pounds in the first month. Remember that it depends on how much you have to lose. The weight won't come off as quickly if you have less to lose. Good luck!..

I lost 10 pounds my first week. I'm not sure what exactly one month was but I'm at 1 1/2 months right now and I'm at 21 pounds down...
