John Berryhill is one heck of an attorney familiar with domain law ... but he's based out of Philadelphia, I believe. Is it a necessity that he/she be based out of Chicago?.

All the best!.

Hi Jeff,.

I would prefer Chicago, but I will keep John Berryhill in mind. Thanks for the recommendation.

Rich, you can also check the stickied list of recommended attorneys:

I went through it earlier and I can't find anyone based in Chicago, though.

I'm guessing you want one based in Chicago because it's a Chicago-based issue.

Requiring one intimately familiar with the ins and outs?.

Good luck with it...

Hi Dave,.

Appreciate the list. I will work through it.

Chicago isn't a necessity, just a preference, because I may need to have face-to-face meetings.

I didn't know about this list, so I appreciate your pointing it out to me.

I live in Chicago, if you'd like.. I can help in finding a good lawyer here in Chicago / IL. I've run across a few but they're over priced. I can recommend a few but not sure if domaining is their specialty.

If this legal issue requires simple correspondance, contract or letter writing - I'd recommend a service called: prepaid legal services. They've helped us with issues here in Chicago & out of state. They can meet with you & the other party or their lawyers, write formal letters, appear in court on your behalf & such. Their fees are monthly based or per incident, your choice. I think it costs $60 a month & $125 per hr of court appearance for you. They charge like $85 per page / letter regarding trademark issues & take care of delivering it certified - etc..

Best of luck!..

My firm also handles such matters, but I am not based in Chicago. Best of luck...

David Berten -

You can look up his work in the Weber Grill UDRP cases and related litigation, and I have also engaged him as local counsel in litigation in the Northern District of Illinois.
