Anyone currently doing Project 365?

I'm going to attempt it & I'd like to see other's progression as well..

Are you using certain themes?.

If you've done it before, what problems did you run into? Other then the obvious - No time or forgot..

My attempt - http://picasaweb.google.com/cuegeee/Project365.

Great idea. I think I'm going to give it a try beginning tomorrow (Feb 1). I hope I can make it a whole year. Maybe I'll just take it one month at a time. Just to see how it goes I'm going to start by calling it the February Project...

Your post reminded me of National Geographic photographerJim Brandenburg's project when he spent 90 days in the northwoods. His self imposed rule was to take one and only one photo each day. The resulting photos are magnificent, and were published in the book "Chased by the Light - My ninety day journey in the northwoods." You can also see them herehttp://www.jimbrandenburg.com/...y/90%20day%20images/chased_by_the_light.html.

Imagine the agony of the decision process. You see shot that is nice but not great. If you shoot it, you are through for the day. What if something better come up? if you pass on it, you might not find anything else as good..

Doing something similar, I call it 'Use the camera everyday'.....

My life got crazy and I realized I hadn't touched my camera in about 2 months. Bummer. So, I picked it up one night and started my project. Take at least one picture every day, sometimes it turns into a couple of hundred. Depends on how much time I have..

But I have been taking at least one photo a day since Jan 31. I've come up with some pretty interesting photo projects this way also when time allows...
