This is my first day and I am thinking ahead... I am an elementary school teacher who is trying to figure out how on earth I'm going to be able to drink 64 oz of water without having to run out of the classroom every five minutes. Also, how do you handle eating if your schedule doesn't fall on your lunch or planning time? Thanks!!..

Hi! I am a 7th grade science teacher. This is my 4th day on the program. We start school next week. I have found that I have been using the restroom a lot but I think I am loosing water weight too so hopefuly it won't be too bad. I guess you'll have to use the restroom every chance you get...morning, prep, lunch, taking the kids to recess. I plan on eating during my prep (early in the morning) lunch, and right when school lets out.

Good luck! (you may have to adjust your eating schedule)..

I am a teacher also...with 2 sessions of kindergarten and no para time assigned to my classroom. I have also wondered how I am going to get all my water in while at school. Can't just drop what I am doing, tell the kids I'll be right back and run off to the bathroom. What I have been doing for the last couple of weeks is drinking 32 oz of water in the morning before I have breakfast. Sometimes I just down it and sometimes it takes me up to half an hour. That takes some of the pressure off to get it in throughout the day.

Then I drink another cup or so each time I drink water rather than sipping. I have a water bottle with a straw that I have marked with a Sharpie in 1 cup increments. The straw seems to help me guzzle the cup pretty quickly and I also have sensitive teeth and the straw helps with that too. I am just going to have to see how this works out when school starts. Guess I could go at the beginning and end of my 20 minute a.m and 20 minute p.m.

I also plan to only drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning because coffee always makes me have to go even more. Good luck and happy school year start-up!!..

I'm a title 1 teacher so I have a little more flexibility in my schedule. So I think I will be ok. I can only imagine being a classroom teacher though that will be tough. I'm sure your body will get used to the schedule. Today was my first day. My stomach hurts a little tonight I hope I can stick with it...

The more you get used to drinking the water, there will be less need to go to the restroom...

I'm an elementary school teacher and I spent the entire school year on Medifast last year and it went fine. Four of my colleagues have since joined Medifast and are doing great as well. You have to work out how your body holds water, then time your intake accordingly. You may have to drink most of your water in the afternoon/evening...but that's fine, right?.

I'm wishing you all well...reaching goal is a fantastic feeling!!!.

Peace & good health,.

Thanks, guys! Great ideas. I think I'll try and get 32 oz down during the AM and then save the rest for after school. I'm not sure how smart it was starting this so close to the beginning to school, but that was just another excuse I could use... Also, I wanted to be able to lay around the first few days. I can't imagine hanging out with 45 3rd graders the way I feel right now!..
