I got the Vermont brand sugar free at the grocery store. It has a green label. I think it is 5g carbs per 1/4 cup, and I only use 1-2T at a time...
I have not found anything comparable to WF products at the stores. I live in Florida; a few of the local Publix stores and NutritionS'Mart carries a few products, including the pancake syrup. You might check around at local health or gourmet food stores in your area.
I order my WF products from Netrition.com. They are cheaper than the WF website, ship the next day and usually arrive within 3 days..
If the WF syrup helps you enjoy the pancakes and stay OP, isn't it worth it?..
I bought suger free Hungry Jack syrup at the Cub foods in MN. It has 4 carbs per tablespoon and 10 calories. I find 1 T is plenty for my choc chip pancake.....
They carry WF products at my local Shoprite. I think they might carry them at Wegmans too, but I'm not sure!..
I'm a mixer! I love to mix! I use SF DaVinci Pancake Syrup with a little SF Mrs. Buttersworth.
Joesph's is a SF brand of pancake/maple syrup. Very thick and flavorful..
Jeez, thanks for the post. I have been using WF which I can get at Kroger's but it is across town so I picked up some Cary's sugar free. Never even thought about the carb count, I log everything and noticed I was breaking 90 grams every day but somehow I missed that I was adding extra on my pancakes every morning. The scale has been stuck for 6 days in a row and I have been hungier, too many carbs, DUH..
There is a learning curve here and I find the more I read the more I learn. Thanks Yeta..
Carys is the brand I picked up, lol! Guess I'll go syrup free til I find or order more WF!..
I tried the DaVinci pancake syrup and, IMO, it doesn't come close to WF. To me it had an aftertaste and was watery. I went back to the WF syrups - ordered them from netrition but I've seen them in my local Giant Food store (don't know if you have that where you are)...
If you have a Sprouts near you, they carry the entire line of WF. (Walden Farms for drsteph)..
I live in Oregon and Fred Meyers carries all the WFs..
