I suggest you first not display the domain in the open like this. Second engage all major name catchers like pool and snapnames for it as they wont cost anything unless they catch the name...
Thanks a lot.
I made a backorder with GoDaddy using their Domain Buy Service.
Thanks a lot..
Okay...first thing. This domain is going to get snagged by someone. You need to contact ICANN imho if the registrar is unresponsive. I mean immediately too. A month isn't a lot of time.
Fasthost might have been a reseller of domains. If you check whois you might be able to see who the registar is. A domain this old it might be Network Solutions. If that's the case you may be able to begin contacting them and provide proof of your ownership with a few faxes and phone calls.
The last thing you want to do is let this domain drop. A domainer will get it and rape you for possibly thousands.
As your sig states...only worth what someone is willing to pay. Do you want to put that to the test with this domain?..
If you have receipts for the domain name registration, even if you paid them to the developer, you should be able to prove you own the name. Do as Iabrocca suggests and contact the registrar immediately to start the process of getting control of the name...
Not godaddy. They will surely loose the name. You need someone like pool. Anyways do what labrocca said first and also engage pool.com for this just in case you fail to prove your ownership. Godaddy is one of the last thing you should rely on for catching important or valuable names....
Doesn't look like fasthosts is a reseller:.
Fasthosts Internet Ltd [Tag = FASTHOSTS].
URL: Web and email hosting, domain names and dedicated servers - Fasthosts..
Yep. You shouldn't rely on a GoDaddy Backorder (it will surely fail). Backorder it at SnapNames, NameJet and Pool...
