WISENIC | Domain Registration.

Does anyone have any experience with wisenic? Do they completely suck or are they decent?.

Ps. I'm still working on the whole domain reseller project. Its becoming a real bitch. Need something decent to hold me over until then..

Easy offer good value for money and i've never experienced any problems with them after registering many domains in past 4 years. Wisenic guys running promos for most of the TLDs including .info, .org, .biz, .us.

The most important things when registering a domain is to ensure the following:.

1. all fees are included and that you don't have to pay any additional registration fees to Nominet or Internic (the main domain registration bodies) yourself.

2. the domain is registered in your name and that you will be sent the certificate of registration. An excellent tool for checking domain details can be found at http:/www.domaintools.com.

3. You have the ability to transfer out the domain to another ISP at any time and without penalty charges. Easily make it easy to transfer domains, in fact you can do it yourself via their website.

Easy are great for registering domains which includes free contolpanel to manage your domains live. However if you are going to host a web site, normally the ISP will register a domain within the hosting fee. The same buying criteria given above would apply.

If registering domains as an investment, first remember that lots of dotcom businesses are failing, so domain values could decline. Second register generic names with as few words as possible and no symbols such as hyphens. The domain should be catchy, unlikely to be misinterpreted if advertised on the radio and be something that could be used to promote effectively a wide range of online businesses.com domains always attract the highest values...

I don't have any experience with Wisenic, but whatever you do, stay away from RegisterFly or GoDaddy.....

Never heard of them and I'm very into the domain business..

Member wiselines, obviously works for or owns wisenic. Probably found WF through the link you posted.

This is a red flag:.

He/she obviously knows nothing about the domain business or even internet business for that matter.

Stick to the main reseller companies:.

Enom.

Moniker.

Wwd.

Directi.

Idotz (irrp.net)..

I use registerfly for some of my domains, why do you say to stay away from them?..

Registerfly are just a nightmare in general, and pathetic with support. They bill you twice sometimes, :0, ignore emails all the time, nameservers don't get recognized, the list goes on....

A lot of people have had bad experiences, myself included.

Registerfly bad experience - Google Search.

So for a stress free registrar, I recommend Namecheap..
